Breathwork, Beats, and Breakthroughs focuses on breathing to a playlist of carefully selected music. The goal is for you to find rest, uncover any blocks you may have, and start your journey of healing and self-restoration.
We will begin with a meditation, and as the music plays, your breathing will follow suit culminating in a primal scream (or any other noise or movement) that will help you release whatever energy is needed to be released.
To round out our practice we will end with savasana (rest period) and another meditation and journaling. Overall, the session should last approximately 60 minutes.
Just a few things to consider that may support your session.
Mat or blanket - we typically lie down for this experience, so please have a mat, blanket, bolsters that help you get/stay comfortable
Water and lip balm - our breathwork session will require you to breathe through your mouth (not your nose), so you may get a bit of dry mouth
Eye mask or towel to cover your eyes - to help you focus on your breathing and limit distractions you may have
Journal/Pen: As part of the practice a journal is handy to capture any thoughts or feelings that you may want to work through in that moment or later at home. You can bring your own or select the bundle to include a journal by journalsbyannamarie.
Your WHOLE SELF - this breathwork practice asks that you open yourself up to just being your self, so just plan to focus on yourself and your breathe alone. I will be there to make sure to limit any distractions
